Although decentralised models don’t fit naturally into regulations and crypto currency source of funds was unheard-of, it was a challenge we relished. During the preparation of the license application and dialogue with the regulator, we had to consider how to create a player protection mechanism capable of protecting 100% of player funds by law, demonstrate the security of the technology to real-world standards, identify cryptocurrency transactions for the purposes of risk and anti money laundering, and secure fiat banking. It took a lot of work and persistence, but we were successful; the first legitimate blockchain gambling license in the world. Following this we assisted establishing operational teams and supported the product launch.
